The Minister of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht Dara Calleary TD recently attended an assembly on language planning in Castlebar, County Mayo.
Among those who attended were representatives from Údarás na Gaeltachta, who organised the assembly, Foras na GAeilge, the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, and from language planning groups in Gaeltacht Language Planning Areas, Gaeltacht Service Towns, and Irish Language Networks across the country.
