Donegal  Town has been named as one of the towns that could achieve recognition as a Gaeltacht Service Town under the Gaeltacht Act 2012.
A public meeting will take place in the Central Hotel on Thursday 6th February 2025 at 7.00pm.
This meeting is for anyone who is interested in the language planning process in Donegal Town. That includes organisations, local voluntary committees and individuals with an interest in promoting the Irish language. The aim of the meeting is to share information on the language planning process, how the process would work in the town, and the supports that are available.
