Foras na Gaeilge is delighted to announce that a podcast series on language planning is soon to be released.

Presented by the Foras na Gaeilge Language Planning Co-ordinator, the podcast is a series of conversations with people working in the language planning sector. Various topics will be discussed with researchers, planners, committee members and other experts. The language planning process is put in the spotlight in Irish language networks, Gaeltacht service towns and Gaeltacht language planning areas.

Each programme in the series lasts between 30 and 45 minutes and this time gives the participants a chance to have a thorough discussion on different questions that arise, the challenges and opportunities that are associated with the language planning process, the progress that groups have made until now and much more.

One programme per week will be released and the series will be available in all the usual place that people find their podcasts.
